I needed to plug the spark plug holes on my new head, but needed something short so I can paint behind the plugs.  I broke the ceramic off of some scrap plugs.

Step 1: hold in vise.

Step 2: Tighten vise.  Safety glasses recommended.

The holes are now sealed up!

I removed the lifting hook from the side of the head.  I won't be using this once it's all painted, I will be lifting it with padded straps from underneath.

It still needs some finish work, but most of the grinding is done.
